Michigan State University IM West permanently closed for squash access on April 25, 2026 after its final day of full building use; the former facility had two squash courts, and MSU has authorized its demolition while retaining temporary pool-only access.

How to play:

Full IM West building use ended April 24, 2026. From April 25, only the pool remained open; the squash courts and the rest of the building are closed to students and members, and MSU has authorized demolition of IM West.

Membership:

Current MSU Rec Sports memberships remain available to eligible university users for operating facilities, with category-specific monthly rates of USD 60 for non-fee-paying students, USD 70 for faculty, staff, retirees and FPID affiliates, and USD 80 for alumni; these memberships do not restore IM West squash access.
